赵晋超

北京语言大学文学学士，北京大学文学硕士，弗吉尼亚大学艺术史博士。研究方向包括中古中国佛教艺术、早期印度佛教艺术、图像叙事、波斯细密画等。博士论文探讨中古早期佛塔图像及佛塔信仰在中原地区的流布与接受。博士在读期间就北朝佛塔图像、佛教本生故事的叙事问题、伏羲女娲图像、细密画等话题发表多篇中英文期刊论文、学术论文翻译及书评。作为研究助理及翻译，曾参与多项国家社科基金项目和海外数字化项目。在弗吉尼亚大学期间担任多门课程助教及佛教艺术课程讲师。现为纽约大学上海校区环球亚洲研究中心博士后，复旦大学亚洲研究中心特约青年研究员。

Jinchao received her B.A. from Beijing Language and Culture University, her M.A. in Comparative Literature at Peking University, and obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in art and architectural history. Her dissertation  investigates the Chinese reception and appropriation of the Buddhist stupa worship in early medieval China by examining stupa and pagoda images. Her other research interests include Buddhist visual narratives and their interaction with textual traditions, Buddhist monk images, early Indian art, and miniature painting. She has published research articles, translations, and book reviews in both English and Chinese. Jinchao has served as a teaching assistant for a number of courses, and has offered an undergraduate-level lecture on Buddhist at the University of Virginia. She was a fellow at the Institute of the Humanities & Global Culture and the Center for Global Inquiry and Innovation at the University of Virginia. Jinchao is the 2021-22 postdoctoral fellow of Global Asia at NYU Shanghai, as well as a junior research fellow at the Asia Research Center at Fudan University.
